There’s a number on the chips, like 2 or 3. I am missing the pink chip #79 – Slowpoke from the original Pokemon Master Trainer game and am wondering which number group it belongs to.

When Tom Durrr Dwan and Phil Ivey were all in, the pot contained .1 million dollars. It was the biggest pot ever in the history of televised poker. The record pot materialized after around 20 hours of play during the filming of Full Tilt Pokers Million Dollar Cash Game in London. Durr and Ivey both flopped straight draws on a Q53 flop, and when the 4 on the turn filled their respective straights the money went in. A total of .1M. While Ivey had been drawing to the sucker straight with his A2, Durr with 76 had the nuts and pocketed a neat little win. Just another day at work for two legendary poker players, a classic moment in the history of television for the rest of us.

It has been said that one good thing playing poker online is that it is always available and one of the worst things about it is that it is always available.  Whenever you feel the need to play, you can always bet that there is a site offering poker games.  As such, you have to be aware when the right time to play is and how long you should play in one sitting.  If you fail to set the right timeframe, you are risking too much.

That said; you have to stop yourself from playing if you know that you only have a limited time.  If you have a free time of 30 minutes or so and you want to play poker, try to stop yourself.  In that 30-minute time span, you could end up losing a lot of money.

The reason why you will be putting your bankroll at great risk is that you would tend to go against the basic principle of playing poker which is to not play too many hands.  Since you will be playing for a short amount of time, for fear of missing out, you could tend to play even junk hands.  Bad hands that you would normally fold without second thought could make you feel lucky and make you bet and call the raise pre-flop.  Even if you get good hands, you cannot expect your luck to hold out.

Even if you end up winning, it could be damaging to your skills.  You could depend too much on luck which would not improve your game at all. 

On the flipside, if you tend to play for an extended period of time without break, you could be subject to mental fatigue.  If you succumb to it, you would not be able to make a good decision.  This would lead to you losing more money.  If you get tow or more bad beats, it could cause you to go on full tilt which is not something you would want.  Going on full tilt would make you an easy prey for your opponents.  They can milk your bankroll for all its worth.

Remember that one of the good things about playing poker online is that you can quit anytime you want.  There is no social pressure that keeps you from quitting while you are ahead when you are playing online.  If you are therefore tired and can no longer make good decisions, you should stop and call it a day.

The online poker sites shut down service to all US residents around 4:00PM, after US Attorney, Preet Bharara (Manhattan), officially filed money laundering and fraud charges against the sites’ owners. Early in the day, players began to complain that the poker sites’ URLs weren’t working correctly. The normal content on pokerstars.com, fulltiltpoker.com, ub.com, and absolutepoker.com had been replaced by an FBI logo. Underneath the logo was an ominous block of text, warning players that the US Government had seized the poker sites’ domain names and that the poker sites were shut down. This led many to speculate that the poker sites were pulling an elaborate late April Fool’s prank. Some suggested that the sites must have been hacked, as poker rooms are no strangers to Denial of Service attacks. But this speculation proved to be misguided when the South New York District Attorney’s released a news wire, officially confirming that indictments are pending against the poker companies. The indictment names 11 defendants: Isai Scheinberg, Raymond Bitar, Scott Tom (of Absolute Poker fame), Brent Beckley, Nelson Burtnick, Paul Tate, Ryan Lang, Bradley Franzen, Ira Rubin, Chad Elie, and John Campos. There comes in a time in many of our lives when we know that we need to make a difference to the way that we look, however knowing it and doing something about it are 2 very different things. Often people know that they are unfit and overweight but have a list of excuses as long as your arm as to why they haven’t done anything about it. Truth is that losing weight is hard because it is about changing your life style in the long run, which takes a lot of will power.

It often takes intervention from an outside source to help give us the motivation that we need in order to make a change and improve our lives for the better. What many of us are unsure about is how exactly to seek this help and what type of help we should seek.

It may seem extreme but boot camp is an excellent way to do this. A fitness boot camp usually lasts a week and in that week you are taught new skills and a new way of life. Of course the boot camp is all about working you hard while you are there – you will go back thinner than when you arrived but it is also about teaching you new habits, so that you can continue this new regime when you get home.

The great thing about boot camp is that once you are there everything is taken care of for you. This means that your schedule and fitness routine are decided, your meals and prepared and taken care of and even your transport to and from the boot camp can be arranged. This leaves with you with no stressful decisions so you can get on with enjoying yourself at the boot camp and taking in all of these new skills and habits that you have picked up while you are there.

Boot camp may seem like an extreme option and in some ways it is .However it is just a week away from home, in a new environment where you can learn from skills professionals where you are going wrong with your diet and eating habits and how you can turn that around to make a positive change to your life.
